I am such a bag pig Mom!!
I forgot to celebrate Alice's adoption day yesterday.

Two years ago on Feb. 12th, my little Alice came to live with us. I'm not going to go over her story. It's on the first page of the chronicle.

Here is a crappy picture that I took two nights ago.
I love you my Princess Peep Peep. Thank you for being such a good girl and now a good "sister" to Latte.

Yay Alice! I'm so glad she's doing well, chronicle-ing, and has a friend!

I just did a double-take on that picture...
Alice looks just like an Emma in that picture, I was thinking...
"hm, wait.. who.. where,... what?!"

Happy adoption-anniversary Alice.

Alice and Latte are spending a couple of hours in their "city house" today.

"Hey little human girl! I hear that bag out there in the kitchen. I will sit and wait patiently until you bring me something." (you would think I starve them or something.)
Image

Alice and Latte would like to say Happy Valentines day to everyone.
Alice also wants to thank you for the Happy's.

Weigh in.
Latte will be taking a trip to the vet this week. Two mornings in a row Latte has been hooting. It stops after a little bit.
Latte weighs in at a whopping 1105 grams and Alice is a more petite 907 grams.
Right this very second, my daughter is opening the fridge to get her lunch ready for tomorrow.
Latte is popcorning and running into Alice, and wheeking for food. (they just had a treat.)
Alice does what Alice does. She purrs. Like a cat. Every single time someone even looks at her, she purrs. I flick my fingers in the air, above her. She purrs.
She is the happiest stinkin pig ever.
Latte gets so excited in the morning and it makes me so happy to see her running zoomies around her ramp.
I get great joy from watching Latte bound around the cage, hopping around like a deer.
I've started calling Alice Einstein. (irony) She isn't the brightest light in the room. I love to watch her come to the side of the cage and look up at me with this blank look. She has trouble seeing over the side and won't climb up to get a better view.
A princess doesn't have to do that.
The girls will add some pictures of themselves next time. :)

I hope Latte's vet visit goes well. Alice knows she's got the looks and that will get her everything. 1 look and I'm sure she's got mum running to do her bidding.

Hey You Guys!!!
I learned a new trick. My daddy has worked with me every day at treat time and after two weeks of intense training....
Yay! I can climb up like Latte does!
Image

Speaking of Latte. I think she really likes living with us. She purrs for Mommy when she pets her and actually lets Mommy hold her for a while. Her favorite seems to be the small hooman. They play on the floor a lot. She follows small hooman around the living room.

Latte stopped hooting and seems back to normal. Both girls sound fine and act as if they are perfectly healthy. I'm trying to wait until I hear the hooting again so that the vet doesn't think I'm nuts.

We are so glad to have her too! Thank you stf.
She purrs for us and realizes how good she has it. She is still a little turkey and has taught Alice to flip the pellet bowl. I had to buy the big square ones that they can't tip.
I'm waiting for her to start hooting again.

Last weekend was absolutely beautiful outside and that meant some outside time for the girls.
My daughter loves to model with the girls so here are a few pictures from Sunday.
Alice just loves to snuggle. I bet she would snuggle with a porcupine.
Image

Latte likes to know what is going on around her.
Image

Latte also loves to give kisses.
Image

Alice had something very important to say.
Image

Alice says "Bye Bye!"
Image

I cleaned the cage out and did a little redecorating last night. The girls are so insanely neglected. They were relegated to the loft while I cleaned the bottom.
Evidence of neglect can be found below.

What beautiful little girls you have :)
It's so difficult being a guinea pig during clean out time. The amount of work that is expected from you is just awful ;)
