Milkyway - From Hell to Here aka Mikly & Friends
I was so sad I forgot to post on Kahlua's behalf.
He did not survive long after his throat abscess surgery.
Mama pig is doing well on her thyroid meds.
So well that after the experience with Kahlua's throat surgery horror we will not be doing surgery on Mama in order to hopefully preserve her happy fun life for as long as possible. Meds and occasional supplemental hand feedings and many extra veggies for her is all prescribed for now.
Tequiza is in the calendar. Daddy MrTex will be very happy.
I have six sweet piggies now.

Thanks y'all.
I need to find Mama Pig's Medical thread and write a bit on it.
Stuff that could be helpful to others in the future like the fact that even when they begin to gain weight on their own, they still most likely need to keep up their supplemental handfeedings. Mama dropped a little weight when I left her on her own with extra treats and veggies for three days to see what would happen, if she could do it herself an all. Tonight (last night actually) she had a good handfeed, and the new batch of mush is ready to go for a second one tomorrow (today actually). Weight monitoring is more important for special needs pigs than healthy fat ones for sure.
