The Fabulous 4: Snickerspants Returns

It's surprisingly readable. Well, not really surprising, because President Carter is a narrative sort of person and it reads like he's standing there talking to you. But when I heard the subject I thought he'd be going a more academic direction with this book, and he didn't. I'm about 1/3 done with it, and so far it's more of his personal process of discovering and fighting oppression and discrimination in his own heart than it is a factual exploration of women's issues. Not at all what I was expecting in my head but I love it.

I'm afraid this is going to become one of the iconic pictures in my mental album of guinea pig moments.
Ouiser isn't doing well. Ouiser has been Ouiser throughout all sorts of fun activities like passing giant stones and recovering from surgery. Now she's not Ouiser any more. But Snick is still every inch a Snick.
Sigh. This stupid pet rollercoaster... I hate it.
