Reese's Pieces
Yes, I sent one of Tayto previously. Absolutely! Better (although maybe harder) to have too many to choose from than too few.
I owe you all an update. In the interim here's a photo of a wee baby pig I got to babysit last weekend. He is so well socialized - and 100% litter trained. I was impressed. Isn't he a cutie?

I couldn't believe it, GP_mum, I've never met a litter trained pig. I'll admit I may have wanted to keep him.
It certainly is that kind of face! He was none too pleased that I interrupted his floor time adventuring to take a picture. Haha.

I've fallen behind... So much has happened and I have plenty to share, I'll definitely have some new photos up soon. I just thought I'd pop in a leave a note about the wee pig I babysat : With a little convincing *wink wink* his family adopted a friend for him! Hurray!
As I'd mentioned, things have been a little crazy around these parts. I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to a new face in our household.
This is Rosie, she came to us from a military family that was being relocated and were unable to take her. The short story is that they struggled with finding her a new home (they didn't want to rehome her to a family with small children), less than a week before their move a friend brought her to my attention and I couldn't resist reaching out. She's between 2 1/2 and 3 years old, my home is her 3rd, and she was born with only one eye. She has some health issues I'm trying to work out but overall she's a bright little girl with a very sweet demeanor.

Thank you all! I'm absolutely smitten. She's one of the snuggliest snuggler I've ever snuggled.
With regard to her health, I'm really hoping that the issues are nothing too serious. When her family dropped her off they outlined what they'd been feeding her and her diet was VERY heavy on greens. They dropped her off with as much fresh food items as I would feed my own pigs in a whole week. Just before they left they warned me that she often had soft poops and not to worry because that was normal for her. She has VERY soft poops, not liquid, but certainly not normal. I've decided to restrict veggies and fruits for a few days before calling the vet, just to see if the soft poops are a result of diet. She also drinks a TON of water, I am hoping it is because she'd had a salt lick (which I took away immediately).

Hi everyone! I suppose it's been a while, hasn't it? Summertime has been so enjoyable that I've found it hard to find the time to write.
I've been spending lots of time outdoors munching on grass and sunning myself on the deck. I've also had the pleasure of eating lots of in-season treats like wild blueberries and strawberries - PLUS the human has been growing kale, apples, cucumbers and celery for me. It all tastes so fresh and delicious! Of course I share with the other piggy residents too.
Early this morning, during some routine snuggles, the human insisted on taking "selfies" with me. For some reason the results amused her greatly. I don't really get it...

I was enjoying the snuggles but the "selfies" distracted her from giving me scritches, which I much prefer. To help return her focus to me I peed on her housecoat. My plan didn't work as I'd hoped...
