I keep going back to that notsofastandnotsofurious photo and smiling. Also ditto CCC, you girls are so lucky to have you, pigjes..never a boring moment, you're always changing things up. The most exciting thing that happened in my cage for the girl lately...is the starbucks paperbag.

I am currently trying out some other Oxbow tablets, due to the success of the Digestive Support and Vitamin C here. This time I am trying out the Joint Support. I try them all, to see if the pigs like them, even the ones I don't need yet, just in case. That way I know I can order a batch if I need them, to save me on expensive shipping costs.
Plucky got sick soon after, poor girl! I instantly knew which ingredient caused it, namely Turmeric/Curcumin. I have a friend who also can't stand it, hence why it came to mind fast, as his brother, who is a doctor, pointed it out to him why.
So, that one is off the list for her. In order not to confuse hub, as he's the one who gives the tablets, cut into 4 pieces, so he can give a treat often to make himself happy, lol, I took the tablets out of the drawer and will use them myself. I take Turmeric daily for my chronic issues and it works, so I will finish the bottle myself, lol. It has other stuff in it which is beneficial for joints, who knows even I can benefit from those. I do not suggest anyone should take my example!
Yet, I also take half an Oxbow Digestive Support daily myself, it has stopped my IBS since I started it, for over a year now. I had IBS since I was 14, I am now 50 and it's bliss to be 95% issue free, as he 5% is the occasional cramp I get. Again, don't try this without asking your doctor! I was so impressed with the effect it had on Plucky, it just was too tempting not to try it myself. Within a week of taking the tablets, she went from being ready to be put to sleep because all the rest failed to help, to eating more vegs than she ever could since she was little!
Poor girl is still not fully OK today, but feeling better. Luckily, she only had 1/4 of a tablet!
Here is some info on Turmeric.
