It could be the upheaval that's made him a bit more sensitive/vocal. When I took the pigs to my parents' for Christmas, Bobs was stressed as anything which made him loud (and grumpy and humpy).

Hope the move goes well.

Hello all!! Things have been busy here in Iowa!

We have moved, and I have started a new job, which I love!

The boys are well, and I think I owe some pictures!!

We're enjoying life

Although, some of us forget our manners from time to time. Apparently it's No Shame October?

Well, this weekend has not been good - Thursday night, I noticed Ace was having some eye troubles, watery, squinty, cloudy. Of course this was after the vet was already closed.

I took him in first thing in the morning, and he of course had a corneal ulcer, and it perforated. He will for sure be blind, and probably will lose his eye. :(

It happened so fast, and I don't know what I missed. I feel so awful for him :'(

Poor Ace! I know he will get used to the impairment if this is what happens but it's still sad.

We need all kinds of prayers and good vibes. Ace's eye is still the same, and he has till Monday to turn it around before we discuss enucleation. To the tune of $600.

He is on a host of meds, otoflaxin drops, serum drops, pain meds, chloromphenocol oral and chloromphenocol ointment.

He has to kick the infection and that eye has to break down on its own.

You wouldn't know a things wrong with him from the way he acts *knocks wood*
