So, my new piggies have been with me for a year now and this is in need of a serious update! Much has been happening but things seem to be settled enough to catch up...

Are we sitting comfortably?! Then I'll begin... again. :o)

While not entirely sure about getting piggies again and just having spent much of my redundancy money last year on doing up my flat, the thought of hay, bedding material and piggy poop finding its way into the freshly decorated recesses of my carefully refurbished flat and new light coloured carpet didn't entirely appeal to be honest!

But then this little chap needed a forever home... and I volunteered for transport duties. He is the dad of the litter while mum Raggedy Anne was actually his sister! (Oh, the shame of it!)

Image
Podrick as he is now known and rehomed with Jaycey, spent a few days with me and that was the catalyst. Helped no doubt, by some very persuasive photos being sent from Thistle Cavies!

Initially these two brothers, later named Horlicks and Barley were to be homed together.

And their little sister Whisky was on her own with mum Raggedy Anne.

The 3 little boars were separated at 21 days to make sure history did not repeat itself yet again. :o)

But oh, they missed their mum!

Poor Rags the mum doesn't seem much bigger than her babies.
