Advisable And / Or Acceptable To Refer People To This Forum.

As mentioned in another thread on this subforum, for the last several months I have looked at my local Craig's List every day, mainly to warn people of the dangers of giving away guinea pigs for free.

However I often see people having some difficulty rehoming their pigs even when asking for an adoption fee.

Would it be advisable, or, indeed, even acceptable, to refer people to this board to find new homes for their pigs? Would they still be allowed to ask for a rehoming fee?

I don't know if this board gets enough traffic to place a lot of pigs. We are happy to have people list guinea pigs but one certainly should not rely on it.

Also suggest contacting a local rescue for ideas for finding homes for a guinea pig. If they have a vet, maybe they have a placement board for pets (hopefully finding someone responsible).
