Wow. Good bye trumped-up trickle down!
Some great tweets:
Sady Doyle@sadydoyle
"I see Hillary has come dressed in the blood of men who have underestimated her."
Jerry Springer ✔ @jerryspringer
"Hillary Clinton belongs in the White House. Donald Trump belongs on my show."
I love Hillary's smile.

Hope so - I mean Hillary making some gains. Yes, she has a wonderful smile.
Interesting article about why some people support Trump:
http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/05/donald-trump-supporters-dunning-kruger-effect-213904
"Trump himself has memorably declared: “I love the poorly educated.”
But as a psychologist who has studied human behavior—including voter behavior—for decades, I think there is something deeper going on. The problem isn’t that voters are too uninformed. It is that they don’t know just how uninformed they are."

I think the bravest thing Hillary did during the debate is keep to talking in a calm but firm voice while Trump acted like...Trump.

- And got the T-shirt
They're saying it because a number of groups were fiddling with the after-debate polls, and those polls were showing Trump had won. But they were the kind of polls where you can vote over and over, or program bots to vote over and over. None of the legitimate polls showed him winning. But you couldn't tell a Trump supporter that.
On a related note, and a miracle of sorts, the higher-ups at Fox News told their staff to stop reporting on those rigged polls -- that there were unscientific and unreliable, and had no place in responsible journalism. Is it actually possible that we're going to see Fox News slowly morph back into a news organization rather than the mouthpiece for the Republican Party?

That is a fascinating article. I think I know my limitations. I also see how my physical skills can somewhat degrade with time. I sure know my limitations when it comes to medical knowledge about guinea pigs! What I repeat is common sense and information observed over time (mites and stones come to mind). I never have all the answers but can point out possibilities.

Hi TWP! It took something as horrible as Donald Trump to bring you back to GL?

Hi TWP and Tex! Nice to see ya.
As for the polls Trump is referring to, from NPR:
http://www.npr.org/2016/09/28/495805190/no-donald-trump-didnt-win-post-debate-polls
"Except that the post-debate "polls" the GOP nominee and campaign kept touting that he won on social media, at his rally in Florida and in press releases aren't polls at all. They're essentially unscientific Internet popularity contests, are not weighted as to what the electorate will actually look like, and have no predictive value. In fact, if you're worried about voter fraud, in many of these surveys people can vote multiple times and they can easily be rigged by Internet bots." As bpatters says above.
In addition, for GPIG and other sports fans, go to 538's homepage for sports predictions.
Not everyone would agree, especially those on the far right, but I see NPR as unbiased. Same for 538 which has posted today:
http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/
Chance of winning:
Hillary 62.2
Trump 37.7
which is an improvement over last week. And if you want to geek out a bit, keep scrolling down on that page. Nice, informative graphics.
I've been hitting 538 first thing in the morning most mornings, depending on if I want to risk being terrified.

“Uncle Bill, hold on! DocInABox.com is not a reliable website, so maybe it’s not possible to contract Ebola from apples. Here’s some info from the Mayo Clinic. Check it out!”
But what if the apple BIT YOU???

From the Washington Post:
"This New York Times ‘Hitler’ book review sure reads like a thinly veiled Trump comparison"
Read all about it:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/09/28/th ... -comparison/
This takes you straight to the NYT review.

It isn't going to be as dramatic as the one on Monday, that is for sure.
