Probably much like I felt taking Beauty back. It is sad... you get attached so quickly! But now look... I have Miss Ginger Piggy instead. The perfect piggy, or piggies, will come along for you and your girls!

I can drive to transport pigs as far as Oregon or Nevada if need be.
I don´t have room, unfortunately, for any more (although I would love more). I´m still working on converting all of my boars over to C & C cages. I have 8 bachelor boars, 7 of which are over the age of 4, unneutered and unwilling to pair up with each other. I have tried everything I know, including "the dating game."

I´ve now got this vision of a bunch of people in jeeps and SUVs, driving around the country-side with pig cages in the back, windows rolled down or on a bull horn, "Got yer pigs here! Anybody lookin´ for some nice sweet piggie pets? Get ´em while they´re hot. One-time only offer. Don´t be shy. Just come on up and tell us how great you are."
That vision of the pigs in jeeps and SUVs reminds me of the Squirrel Lady at a roadside stand in the movie Rat Race. The one who directed people miles out of their way, into the middle of nowhere, until they sailed over a hidden cliff to nosedive into a heap of other trashed cars, right next to a sign that read "You should have bought a squirrel!"

Briana, are those in addition to all the black and white ones from Sept? Poor pigs. Can´t they give them a box for a house? They are going to hurt each other. I agree... poor little frightened pigs. Tears at my heart.
Yup, thats in addition to all those black and white ones. There were two hutches of new ones, it looked like there was 30-40 of them. There were so scared but settled down once they were held close and felt safe. I was trying to find some boxes for them to hide in but there wasn´t anything around that was clean.
I must say I am very proud of this SPCA. When most SPCA´s would have put those 350 to sleep, they kept them and still have them ten months later.
