Okay, we're not there yet. But it's happening! Anyone else going to watch the returns and wait until there is a clear winner? Hopefully early on and Clinton-like?

I am. I hope and pray Clinton/Kaine wins.

I'm watching right now, biting my nails and eating strawberry twizzlers.

I said I wouldn't watch, but I've checked a few sites. I promised myself I would go to bed early. Mr. RS poured himself a big drink.

I do have to say, this looks like it is going to be much closer than I'd like. We have one additional Senator (extremely important!), Tammy Duckworth.

I cannot believe Trump is currently leading in VA and has a lead with 93% of the vote in, in Florida.

Mr. RS has shut down FB and plans to binge watch Netflix now. I probably ought to do the same.

What continues to get me is the horrible, horrible things being said. Certainly do not read the comments!

This is way too close to suit me. But I have discovered that it absolutely makes a difference which station you're looking at as to which states have been called.

I'm watching reruns of Chopped and trying not to flip over to the networks too often.

One of the websites that predicted one way by a high margin is now predicting the other way. I need to get offline. I think I'm going to puke.

The NYT is partisan. I damn sure hope they're wrong.

Much closer than I'd like. I just cannot imagine a Trump presidency.

I should have never left Germany. This...is downright scary.

Florida is called for Trump. Looks like NC will be also.

I can't take this. Going to sleep.

August 5th 2015:

"I think Donald Trump is going to steal this election."

Why was he not taken seriously and stopped back then?

The America we know will be gone. This is just awful.

Thank God for California. Tighten that margin up.

If we get Wisconsin and Michigan, we should be okay... but we need those states

We found a cafe with free wifi to watch the results, keeping an eye on here:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-interactive/2016/nov/ ... presidential

It's not looking very good. The joke "The US and the UK are in a competition to see who can eff up their country the most. The UK is in the lead but the US has a Trump card." Stopped being funny.
