Criteria Care hand feeding

From anyone's experience with feeding critical care. How long/many days did you have to feed before your cavy started eating on their own?

It totally depends on what is wrong with the guinea pig. There is no hard and fast rule.

Well, it's a long the short version is ABs originally decreased his appetite.. hasn't had any kind; orally since last Saturday and nasal since Thursday. He hasn't eaten on his own since Thursday evening. Mainly sits in "hunched" position in his house. Doesn't seem to want to relax completely.

I have a few other posts in the er section about what has been going on. Yes been to the exotic vet.

I did listen to his gut between morning and midday feedings, didn't sound like anything was moving. Listened while doing evening feeding and it sounds very active.

Will see how he is in the morning. Thanks for the answer.

You need to keep all your posts about your pig on one thread. It makes it too difficult for people to follow what's going on if we have to look at different threads to find the information.
