Thank you. It was not an easy decision, as it is always tough to make that decision. But after the weekend of still not eating except for when I was syringe feeding him and he lost 7 oz over night, I knew it was time. He had been through a lot since July 26th. Thanks again for all the advice. Babs

I am so sorry you lost Teddy. RIP little man. Now in perfect health, run free and munch on the green fresh grass. Popcorn to your hearts content. You did all you could. He knew he was loved and in time the memories will bring smiles and the tears will fade.

Our piggy Jessie couldn't eat for herself due to misaligned mouth and dental issues, we hand-fed her for 5 years, she passed when she was 8. It still hurts. Sending big hugs to you!

I would watch Snickers for a while for any signs of illness or depression. Weigh regularly. Hoping he doesn't miss his friend too much. https://www.guinealynx.info/alone.html and this one https://www.guinealynx.info/weigh.html

Thank you. He seems okay so far. Lots of extra cuddling time. I will weigh him daily for the week as I have read. Teddy was the more dominant of the two.
