Metacam or Ibuprofen

Right now I'm doing .3ml a day, Romeo is at 900 grams. Going to ask the vet if rimadyl may be better.Thank you

That is the amount of the suspension you are giving. What is the concentration of the suspension?

The meloxicam is measured in mg (milligrams, which is a weight). Once it is mixed in a liquid (suspended in a liquid, now called a suspension), it is measured by mg/ml (i.e. the weight per the volume in milli liters).

Thank you Lynx! Suspension is 1.5mg per ml. We are prescribed 0.3 ml twice a day, but that's right after the one incisor trim he has left, which is every 2 weeks, after that, it's as needed for comfort and pain, given all the health issues he has and the current mystery health issues. I do find it helps, it also zonks him out a bit. I tried less and it didn't seem to work. The quantity is 15. Thank you again.
