One of my piggies has a darker pee for the first time. It makes me worried because I’ve never seen it before.I read a lot of forums but I can’t still decide if it’s a symptom or not.

It’s a pic of his pee:

How old is the pig?

Guinea pig urine darkens when it's exposed to the air as it dries, so some color is nothing to worry about. The urine of young pigs dries darker and oranger than that of older pigs. And since it's hard to tell whether color is accurately reproduced in a photograph, there's no way to know whether that's oxidized urine or urine with a bit of blood in it.

The characteristic symptoms of stones are hunching and squeaking when peeing or pooping, particularly when pooping.

A UTI can also cause a bit of bleeding, but if the pig has a UTI, the urine will probably have a stronger odor than GP urine usually does.

Is he showing any other symptoms?

He is younger than 1 year old.But I think he is also older than 6 months old.He had the urine after I gave banana peel. Now, his urine looks normal. He hunching while pooping sometimes. He doesn’t squeak when pooping or peeing.Yes, the urine has a stronger odor sometimes.I think the cause of stronger odor is they pee a certain fleece a lot.

It's the odor of fresh urine that could be symptom of a UTI. Once it's been on the fleece, it's due to other issues.

To me, that doesn't look like blood. However, the best way to know for sure would be to have a vet look at a fresh sample under a microscope.

Are you using blankets for bedding, or was that just for the purpose of getting a photo?

He is running around the cage and he drinks, eats very well.He looks like he doesn’t have any problem but the poops make me worried.

Poops this shape (tear dropped, with "tails") could indicate he is not eating enough. Are you weighing him daily right now?
