Yes, neutering will make the perineal sac more roomy, minimizing the need for butt cleanings.

It will not alter the personality of your pig. But after 3 weeks, you can introduce him to a female buddy. The wait is necessary for any remaining sperm to die. Otherwise, he may have one last hurrah, so to speak.

Since there are no testicles, the poops become more bean shaped, shorter and fatter like a sow poop.

Actually now that I think about it since I switched to towels for bedding I haven't had to do it or noticed any odor. It was getting to be an issue...

Even when Jackie doesn't have Carefresh stuck in his butt, he has gobs and gobs of white goo and hair. He smells like old tuna salad. I can't believe he thinks that's sexy.

Jake has impaction problems now and I don't understand why. He's not a year old and he's neutered. Jake and Jonah both have soft poops 3 or 4 times a week.
