Well, this will be a new way to say ´super size it´. Ollie tips the scale at just under 4 lbs. Three lbs 14 ozs, to be exact. This is him next to an average pig, Buttercup. She is 2 lbs 7 ozs. For those of your metric people, that is just at 1758 grams. One biiig pig!

That would by my husband, and he was more waiting for Ollie to discover a "girl!" and go nuts! Yep, one biig pig!

I´ve seen a few big pigs like Ollie, what makes them get so large? Is it what you feed them or is it just genetics? He doesn´t look oveweight to me, he just looks...big!

How old is he, by the way?

Ollie´s father was over 4lbs, right, KM? I kind of remember you telling me that the day you took Ollie home.

Now, people, do you understand why his nickname is "Moose"?

Yep, Evangeline, you are right. His whole family was large, so genetics plays a huge (no pun intended!) part.

Sumerlei, he was 2 on october 11th, so he is just over two years. He is a really great pig, with the best piggie lips on the planet!

Lisam, very funny! You know the pigs eat much better then the husband, look at the guy! He is all skinny, poor thing.

You want me to post a pic of the little silver sow? She is smaller than Buttercup!

My kids love the little ones, we have a runt that they give all the attention to. It would be fun to see a picture of her with your giant Ollie!

I am just cracking up! What a great big moose. By the way, what is the little girl´s name?

So, your husband likes football?

Yes, he´s a moose! Her name is Kendra (not from me). Since I got her with her two babies, I have just been calling her momma.
He loves any sport. And with us keeping the heat down to just above freezing, he is wearing his long flannels more and more!

I love piggy lips too. Ollie looks pretty relaxed hanging there for all of us to see.
