Well back from the vet.

Left eye - Abnormally dilated
Possible cause - Lack of light from right eye or bacterial.

Right eye (the one pictures) -
1) Pupil Abnormally small,
2) Cataract
3) Misshaped iris. Possible cause - heredity, Bacterial infection (gave us Bayril) or a disease (i.e. diabetes)

The vet recommended for a better and more thorough diagnosis we should see a eye specialist.

As far as the eye goes, have your vet give you gentamicin sulfate ophthalmic solution made by FALCON.
We have had 4 piggies with this and also Bright Eye had a very bad eye that was ready to pop . This stuff works great!

Just put 1 drop in piggies eye 2 times a day, and 3-4 days it is all better. This stuff is the best I have used for the eyes.

Wieght 12/5/06 2lbs 6.4oz 1086g
Wieght 12/7/06 2lbs 4.4oz 1033g

On the 7th we put a water bottle and food dish in the hay loft to try to help KC eat. Rodger our other boar kept chasing him everytime he came in sight.

Wieght 12/9/06 2lbs 6.1oz! 1080g!

He has been chasing Rodger out of the hay loft and moving around a lot more. The spot on his eyes also appears to be getting smaller.

Thanks CICSTEVE for the advice. When we take KC back for his follow up I will ask the vet for it. Right now we can afford to get it until then.
