This is my first day back at work since I got my piggies last week and I already miss the little babies. I miss the morning cuddle time and watching them in their cage.
I gave them their morning veggies, kissed them goodbye and left.
Poor lonely piggies. I may have to set up a webcam just so I can watch them from work.
(Actually, they are probably happy the crazy lady is finally leaving them alone)

| Probably. ; ) Little devils just love us for the food, and don't need us, like we need them I think.

| Yeah, I missed my boys over the holidays and I miss them now that I'm at work. Last year when I was at my parents' I asked "I wonder how the pigs are doing" and Mom's answer was "the pigs are probably having a ball." The correct answer would have been "they miss you horribly and can't wait for you to pick them up." :)

| I have Thunder's pic in my blog and a snapshot of Lightning over my desk. That way I can see them when I get bored, which is, unfortunately, quite often :(

gopher - As long as you have a big cage with at least a pair of pigs, I don't think they mind when you go to work. Just make sure you offer veggies when you come home. ;+)
We also keep a radio on a soft volume for a little background sound for our pigs while we're at work. We have six pigs, three each in a 3x4 so keeping themselves occupied while we bring home the romaine is not a problem.

They have a big 3x4 C&C cage that I swear is bigger than my first apartment. It's stuffed with two pigloos, a running tunnel, a wood tunnel, hay hay hay, food and a cut toliet paper roll.
I was thinking about trying the radio thing, not sure though since one is kinda jumpy around some sounds.
They only have like 3 main activites anyway - eating, sleeping and bothering each other.
I think I just want them to miss more than I know they will. I think going back to work will be a good thing because it will set up routines which were missing this last week.

| I had someone different to usual look after my pigs while I was away over Christmas and I had bad dreams about nasty things happening to them for both nights I was away. My, was I glad to see the little sweethearts in the best of health on my return!
