We still do with Gallardito with us. :)
I know, we need new pictures, will get on I promise. :)

A week ago, while we were soaking wheatrgass seeds in water, Buji asked if we can grown them in pine instead.
Tough times call for frugal methods, and hence the following experiment.
Seeds have already been soaked overnight in water for sporuting before any of the pictures were taken.

In conclusion, it is doable, but I still find the grass to grow faster and better on Carefresh. :)
If you ask the connoisseurs, they say...

A few of you wrote to ask if our piggies have started eating pellets.
hah, let Beibei tell you what she thinks of the pellets.
Only worthy to rest her footsy on.

QE You can get them from any health food store that sells fresh grains. Many people use them to cook with, but to me wheat seeds are guinea pig food. ha ha

Wonderful story Momo. Mojo looks so cute. Tell Beibei she should try the pellets.

Wheatgrass seeds are sold as wheat berries or whole wheat groats, but I've never seen them labeled as wheat grass seeds. Must be an industry secret.
