Seeing as I'm at work when most people ask questions, I'll give an update from today.

Crash was talking a lot today and was very interested in a little bell pepper. He's a good boy and stands mostly still when it's time for his fungal cream. His eyes are very red today, so I'm currently debating on if I should saline rinse or get out the heavy duty guinea eye drops. He loves nesting in hay and fears no one. For those that know mm's Weaver, he has been doing Weaver circles today, which concerns me. (A Weaver circle is going around and around with no apparent reason, typically being lulled by head tilt or neurological issues). Crash still loves his water.

Bandit is a punky adolescent brat...sorry Brenda. He takes flak from no one and sometimes bosses Crash. On the plus side, if Crash gets cold Bandit will keep him warm. Bandit's wounds have scabbed nicely, his fur is taking on a more proper hue, his poos are almost normal, and he is always hungry. He is afraid of hands.

Here are some pictures from yesterday morning, right after the boys arrived at our booth at an event. Checked over, trimmed a bit of matted hair, and into a carrier they went with hay, Critical Care, and water. Then home with CavyCastle to begin the next leg of their journey home.

Oh my gosh! So cuuuuute! Pardon me, handsome! I love it how Crash is smiling in the last picture :) He must feel so relieved to finally know what love and care are!

Too bad Crash isn't a female, he would fit right into my herd of Bear and the Bobbleheads( Pebbles, Weaver, Hillary). :-)

I did notice Crash's eyes were red too. What could that be? I like the name Silverado too. He only got "Crash" because NGM looked in the back seat of my car and said, "oh the little one is totally crashed he is so tired". (they were buckled into the seat in a dog carrier as I wanted them closer than the cargo area).

Bandit is a punk eh? Still love him! And yes, he rumbled a lot here too. He screamed when I got him out of that horrible rabbit hutch but otherwsie only rumbles. He rumbled every time I took Crash/Silverado out for CC too.

If my husband gets a job (he has 2 interviews) I am going to see if Weaver can make cowboy themed beds for them. :)

Aww, what a rough road these guys have had but I am so happy that Brenda persisted and rescued them. They deserve a happy ending.

They're so sweet! I'm so happy that these boys are now getting the care and attention they deserve.

If they were not so far away I would adopt both these handsome little guys. After all they've been through together I hope they get to live a long happy and healthy life growing old together :)
