Hi, I'm a new Guinea pig slave. My family adopted Todd and Flash on April 25, 2009. Flash is 3 1/2 and Todd is 2. They live together in a 3'x4' cage I made with help from my Grandpa. It's not a C&C cage but is based on the idea. I really like to feed them their veggies! Todd starts to wheek when I open the fridge! I'm taking a pet care project, Guinea pigs this year for 4H, but my 4H book is really out of date! That's why my mom let me join GuineaLynxKids. I also like to play softball, basketball, read, play outside with my dog and of course have floortime with my piggies!

Um, I forgot that Syd is "one of those" names, I'm a girl. It happens a lot.

No problem, with all the sports I play I dress like a boy. I agree my guinea pigs are nice! Flash is a cuddler and Todd is so soft.

It's time for some updates! Sadly Todd and Flash both crossed the rainbow bridge this past July. It was sad, but now I want to introduce my current guinea pigs, Mumble (female) and Pumpkin & Spice (two brothers). They all joined us in August.

This weekend we are trying to find Mumble a friend. We spent about two hours at a rescue and found out that Mumble is a bully! There was only one female who would put up with her. Right now Mumble is spending some time at the rescue to see if they play nice together. I'll update you later to let you know if I have three piggies or four!

If you have been over on Guinealynx you know that we did adopt Michaela last weekend. I was happy because she's the one I liked on Petfinder. She's still shy, but she's a sweetheart.
