I'm Eenypup, but I'd prefer to be called Lauren or Eeny. :3 I've been a member of GuineaLynx for over a year now, but I'm definitely one of the youngest there and really can't relate to all of the topics about their children & whatnot, ya know? ;3 Also, I'm super psyched that I finally have a guinea pig website where I can type how I'm used to typing! It's not chatspeak or anything, but I love smilies & don't always type in a 'professional' manner, and I'm glad that's not frowned upon here! I'm fifteen, and the main caretaker of my guinea pigs. My dad cares for them when I'm at my mom's house, however, as they are divorced. I own five male guinea pigs & two rats, and we have a family dog. I really hate the stereotype that minors can't properly be the main caretakers for guinea pigs. My boys live in C&C cages with fleece & towels, get tons of fresh veggies daily, are rushed to the vet at the first sign of illness, and get tons of floortime and laptime each week. They're spoiled rotten, and I'm the one who gets the information and my dad just provides me with the rides, since I can't drive yet. (:

I horseback ride twice a week, I'm an eventer & I'm in love with cross country! I also volunteer three times a week at a Theraputic Riding Center. I love horses, but my favorite part about theraputic riding is the handicapped kids. I want to work as a Special Ed. teacher or Occupational Therapist when I'm older. ^_^ I loooove American Idol, especially Tatiana Nicole del Toro & Danny Noriega! I'm also obsessed with odd medical stories & unsolved mysteries. I'm pretty darn upset I wasn't old enough to be interested when Unsolved Mysteries was on television, and I'm sure most of the members of this forum weren't either! I'm rarely serious, but when I am serious about something I get really obsessive and really passionate. Guinea pigs are one of those passions, as are LGBT rights & horses.

Hello! I've worked with handicapped kids too, it's a different atmosphere but it's worth it. [It was part of a "peer" program or something.] I only lurked at GL but don't you have a guinea pig named Everest?
You watched American Idol too? I actually thought Tatiana was annoying...hehe. XD
Have fun with your smilies and non-seriousness here. :P

Handicapped kids are the greatest, very rewarding experience to work with such awesome children. ;D
I do have a little silver & white Abby named Everest! People seem to be able to remember him best, he's a looker. (:

hehe. :D Even though I'm only 12, I have also worked with handicapped kids! They are just adorable! Except, I help them with dance and help them fulfill their dreams. :) It's great.
