I have lost only two Guinea Pigs, but it has still been hard. I first lost my only girl Guinea pig, Eleanor Roosevelt. One morning I came into my badroom and she was just laying there in the cage, dead. Next i lost my very favorite Guinea pig of all, Thomas Jefferson. He was my only nice Guinea pig. I rescued all of my Guinea Pigs and the other two were very skittish. He always came to the edge of the cage when I came home from school. The same thing happened to him. He just was laying there in the middle of his cage. We burry all of our Guinea Pigs and other pets in our back yard. we put stones over their graves. I put a special lady bug stone (named Mrs. Big-Lips-Yodling-Ladybug) on his grave. He was special. It is very hard losing a Guinea Pig.

Yes, it is. I totally understand how it is. It's hard and very disappointing. We also bury all of our animals in our backyard and put stones over them. They deserve respect, and they earn it. Good for you for rescuing. :D
