Big cages are easier to keep clean. If you change the bedding in wet corners, you can go longer between cage changes. But be sure to clean at least once a week!

Check out different kinds of bedding to see what works for you!

I keep my guinea pig's cage clean. Every night before I go to bed I take a bag and clean up from where her water bottle drips and her bathroom corner. ;)

Sounds like a good idea. For a while, one of my bottles was dripping. I put a shallow heavy dish underneath to catch some of the drips. Do you think that would help you?

I'll be honest. I don't like to do the poop cleaning. So mom does it and i chop the veggies change the water.

Some people even have little hand held vacuums to pick up the poop. Others use small brooms and dustpans.

I guess their poop never bothered me much. I am SOOOOOO happy they are vegetarians! (poop is not stinky!)
