Shipping Information
Shipping can be a significant part of the cost of getting a calendar or book. I do my best to keep the cost of shipping as low as possible.
US SHIPPMENTS
Books: Books are generally shipped First Class Package in a plain manilla envelope.
First Class Package: First Class shipping guarantees return to me if there is a delivery problem.
Priority Flat Mail: Free tracking is provided by the USPS when shipping labels are purchased online. Free tracking is not available if the USPS does not accept your address online.
Media Mail: Media Mail can be a good choice for shipping multiple books if you are not in a hurry. If shipping Media Mail, you may wish to pay for a tracking number and/or insurance. Use the comment box if you prefer this option.
Calendars: The least expensive method to ship Calendars is via First Class Package.
First Class Package: Calendars ship in a Tyvek mailer rather than a manilla envelope to provide slightly more protection from moisture and tearing of the package. A single piece of cardboard helps reinforce the "DO NOT BEND" message that appears on all envelopes. If you wish to have additional protection (and higher shipping costs), please let me know in the comment box.
Priority Flat Mail: Free tracking is provided by the USPS when shipping labels are purchased online. Free tracking is not available if the USPS does not accept your address online.
Insurance: Insurance is available for items shipped via Priority Mail.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPMENTS
Single items are generally mailed First Class International. Books are mailed in plain manilla envelopes. Calendars include a piece of cardboard and are shipped either in a recycled bubble mailer if available or in a Tyvek mailer with one or two pieces of cardboard.
Priority Flat mailers are the most economical method of shipping multiple items. These mailers generally provide enough space to insert one or two pieces of cardboard to the side, depending on how many items are being shipped.
Cardboard: I use recycled cardboard. So you may find an interesting piece with a "history" in your shipment.
