Okay, so today I woke up to the sound of the bell ringing. I went downstairs, and Spike had pooed! Plus, he had eaten all his hay, and flipped his dish on the side. And he was on the bars looking for food!

I'm going to keep handfeeding him for a few more days if he keeps improving, until he gets his full appetite back.

He needs to be on motility drugs for 10 days, though.

12 hour poop count: 70. (Yes, I counted and removed every single one from his cage to keep track.) 30 of them happened right after the motility drug got in his system. Before then, he had done 3 all day.

Also, while Spike is in the quarantine cage, Chex is in the Spike's big cage.

And Chex has gone native. He was going so berserk that he turned his head upside down to bite the bars. Like an owl! I think he needs Ritalin. *lol*

Hey, just saw this, Sidera. Poop counting is OK. I do it, too. Every last one of them. So, happy news!

Ahhh, the joys of piggy parenthood, poop counting :)
Glad the plumbing system is back online.

Plumbing seems to have slowed again, but he is eating on his own. :/

We had to take the bell out again because he was ringing it too much. ;)

Positive vibes for Spike. Eating is good and hoping that he's pooping up a storm as well.

Spike is grateful for all the healing vibes! Here is he tonight getting his Critical Care.

Here's a short video of him. His behavior is much different today than yesterday. Also, sorry about the loudness of my voice. For some reason, the sound is all unbalanced and I sound like I'm talking through a megaphone at him. *lol*

It really helps that Spike likes to be swaddled and fed. Hee hee.
