Tooth issue and more
Just a little update. He is holding on to weight, hasn't started gaining much, but not losing. Poop still is not as plentiful as I would like, but it is much better consistency, so he is obviously eating hay overnight. Eating pellets well. I cut back a little on the veggies, so he may want to eat more hay. No more CC. Tomorrow is the last day of his pain meds, so I will see what happens when I stop. I have never used Meticam long term, so I will have to see how and if I can do that if he backslides when I stop.
Fingers crossed he keeps improving.

My life is looking for and evaluating poop. Few people understand that.
With horses, it is so insanely crucial to find poop that is the right amount, consistency, etc. We have a cat with megacolon. Each morning we have to check the litterbox and make sure there is the "right" amount and quality of poop. We have two cats, so it is imperative that we identify who did what poop. Really?? I check the rabbit litterbox twice a day for poop. And it goes on and on........... but soooooooooo happy for Simon poop, can't forget Luke, he hasn't let me down so far. Today was a good day. :)
