Two sweet girls need to rehome. My daughter develops sever allergy with her eyes, so we have to find a new home for both of them. It is a very hard decision and my daughter cried so badly. Two girls must go together. They are very healthy and happy girls. All supplies will go with them, including fleece beddings, Midwest size cage and courtyard, toys and more. I am sorry your daughter has developed a severe allergy. I wonder if it is a contact issue and a combination of occasional baths with a shampoo designed for pets combined with being careful to wash hands, before and after handling the guinea pigs might help? (perhaps you have pursued these ideas already?)

Children can bond with their pets so strongly. I know this decision is a hard one. And hope you can find them a good home.

Thank you so much! We tried everything but every time she goes in that room, her eyes start to get very itchy and watery. Only her has this issue at home. Sign! My son also cried sadly when he saw me posting this here. I hope two girls can find a good home here.

I encourage you to try other methods to find homes for your guinea pigs too (this board is not as active as it once was). Sometimes a local rescue might not be able to take them in to adopt out but can provide a listing to help you place them. Also some local exotics vets have bulletin boards to post about pets needing homes.

p.s. have you tried a high quality air purifier? There are a couple articles linked to on this page that address allergies:
