We've had a couple that have benefited from small, regular daily doses of Reglan (metoclopramide, a motility agent), especially as they aged and if they had an inclination to bloating/slow GI processing. Might be worth asking your vet about.

Good luck and blessings to her and to you. Hope she continues to improve!

I just wanted to update the thread - turns out you’re all totally right. Shirley does have what seems to be an ovarian cyst. The exotic vet suggested an implant to regulate the hormones. I haven’t gone there yet.
We’ve got some Ranitidine incase she flares up again.

bpatters wisely suggested ovarian cysts as a possibility. If you are able to treat it (surgically/chemically), I hope it helps with the digestive issues!

My sows who have had cyst have always gone with hormone injections. They get one wait 2 weeks then that's good for usually 6 months and repeat process if needed.

With Jessie shrank her cyst in 6 months, Jay and Jan took a little longer but injections worked great and less invasive.
