Orbax is one of the brand names of orbafloxacin. It’s prescribed for bacterial infections in soft tissue, like urinary and bladder, lung and heart, as well as skin infections. I think Gidget was prescribed Orbax for her ear infection. I remember something the vet said about it being safe to give for longer periods of time than other antibiotics.

It seems to be much more agreeable to his system. There's been no change to his appetite. That azithromycin really wiped him out, and it apparently didn't knock out the infection. I feel more optimistic this time.
