Found this site they have guinea pigs treats. My piggies don't get treats. I have bought the cornflower one not even heard of some of them. Go to page 2 and scroll down to see the treats. Thanks in advance. https://www.vetshopaustralia.com.au/cat ... uinea+pigs

I buy Oxbow Simple Rewards Apple and Banana, Oxbow Natural Science Vitamin C, and Kaytee Super C Timothy Bites.

Millie has decided she doesn’t like the Oxbow Vitamin C anymore. She also doesn’t like the Kaytee treats. So I put Oasis vitamin C drops on an apple banana treat and she gets that twice a day for her vitamin C.

Ruby Sue likes all the treats and she thinks Millie is just being a fussy little picky pants.

I'm with Ruby Sue. Love your description of Millie being a "fussy little picky pants."

I never gave my guinea pigs treats. Did try to make their environment more interesting and enjoyed picking fresh grass for them and making sure they got quality pellets and fresh vegs. I always considered fresh vegs were treats!

Baby carrots are the treat I give my pigs the most. Once or twice a month, I'll divide a small apple between the 8 of them. I also do parsley and cilantro 3 or 4 times a month During our growing season, they get carrot and beet greens. They get fresh picked grass when it's green too.

OK silly question but what is Cilantro and beet greens? All the piggies so far love the Oxbow organic pellets. Good to see them eating them.

My fussy lot won't touch apples they do like cornsilk though. Have around 14 raised garden beds and 120 pots which have planted cat grass seeds just waiting for them to grow larger.

Oxbow treats and cornflower treats a bust. Going to try the dandelion root one tonight. I wanted to try things with the fussy bunch because all they eat are silverbeet, lettuce(girls not boys), carrot, cucumber cherry tomato(not Joan) and hay and pellets. I mean they have had it for years day in day out. Aren't they sick of it? I would be!

Thanks ItsaZoo, Lynx and Renonvsparky.

Not silly questions, Daisymay. Just silly U.S. names for plants. Cilantro over here is the leaves and stems of the Coriander plant. It could also be called Mexican parsley or Chinese parsley in other parts of the world.

Beet greens are the leaves of beets or beetroots. They might also be called silverbeet, beet chard, or spinach beet.

I keep Oxbow treats on hand because both of my girls have had digestive issues so I have to give small portions of fresh veggies. They’re demanding, then have tummy trouble. The Oxbow treats give them something to chew on so they settle down.

Ruby Sue gets in the crazy zone frantically chewing the cage bars when I’m making meals. I think Oxbow should come out with a CBD treat for crazy foodies like her!
